I've actually been trying to keep up with a new sketch every day but I just haven't been near a scanner for the past few days. I'll upload some soon!

Building Sketch

Went walking around Central Park today and stopped by the Museum of Natural History to sketch a little. We drew until the sun went behind the buildings and it was too cold to move our fingers anymore.

Doodling in my sketchbook today. Now that Petticoat's done I thought I should make a point of drawing something new to post at least every other day to keep things loose. Let's see if I can keep the schedule. New Year's resolution maybe?

Brush Pen

There comes a point in every life drawing session where my mind wanders or I 'm unhappy with the quality of my drawing and I end up doodling random things with my brush pen. My sketchbook of the last few sessions has almost no figure drawings I'm happy with but it did produce a lot of doodles.

Petticoat Backgrounds

It took four months of solid work, but the two new Cole Petticoat, P.I. shorts have been finished! Both shorts are in post-production now down at StandOff. Here's hoping they'll be online in a week or so!

In the meantime, here's Petticoat's office:

Each background is painted in gouache and is 16" x 13 1/2". More updates to follow.
